How Do I Choose a Commercial Cleaning Service?
This simple question has a complex answer: The same way you choose any relationship.
Were you to choose a spouse, how would you go about it? Issue an RFP and accept the lowest qualified bid?
Hiring a cleaning service is not like purchasing product where specifications may be quantified. “Clean” is a subjective term open to interpretation; it matters not that a vent is 10’ off the ground or 12’ or if it cleaned 2 or 7 times monthly. What matters is doing what the client wants in the manner that the client wishes. This is Follow Through Cleaning's strength.
What you want should go beyond clean. The first objective should be to bring no shame to your facility (by evading labor law or using illegal sub-contractors).
The second objective should be do the work in the manner you desire and maintain clear communications between the cleaners and the client.
The third objective is to provide a budget that enables the cleaners to meet the stated goals while being mindful that every dollar spent in overhead is a dollar denied to mission.
