What is an "Honest Cleaning Company?"

Follow Through Cleaning manages the cleaning of each customer's facilities with focus on our core principles of competence, consistency, and communication.  We have minimal employee turnover and employ only legal, documented labor.  Our team has the organization and efficiency to deliver excellent results for our customers, even when their maintenance budget is tight.  In fact, we continue to serve our first client after 30 years.

Who has after-hours access to your office?

Competitive pressure and the lack of oversight inherent in the after-hours work of the janitorial industry can allow poor service to masquerade as a "good deal."  The cleaning industry is notorious for cutting corners, hiring illegal labor and high employee turnover.  I don't let strangers roam my office in Portland and I won't let strangers roam yours.

Negotiated Pricing vs. Bids

We use negotiated pricing for our quotes so that we can prioritize your requirements within a realistic, long-term budget.  Negotiated pricing allows us to get your property cleaned the way you want it done, at the price you want to pay.

Low-bid pricing competitions place the financial incentive of gaining your initial business over your long-term cleaning needs.

• If a dishonest company can capture your business with low-bid pricing, they can raise it later and hope that you won't search for another new service provider.
  
  
• Some franchised janitorial businesses are simply marketing companies (with no janitorial staff) that will sell your service contract as a commodity.  These business models result in well-paid commisioned sales people, but franchisees that lack sufficient revenue to provide the cleaning service that you pay for.
  
  
• Improper sub-contracting can result in a chain of two, three, or more sub-contractors that all take a cut of your cleaning budget, often leaving insufficient funds to provide for legal labor and quality service.
